Foreclosures in Atlanta are on the rise once again. There are many factors for this that include delays from last year foreclosures being postpone, failure of loan mods, and unemployment. We continue to see around 13,000 to 15,000 properties that are being advertised monthly. Not all of these go to foreclosure..in fact, it probably is only half. This is still a large number. We are looking at a 5 year plan with homes selling well and hopefully no more drop in prices. It will take at least 5 years for the current inventory to balance out and demand reach higher peaks than the supply. Stay tuned!
